Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi want to re-unite with their fellow collegian, Rancho, after faking a stroke abroad an Air India plane, and excusing himself from his wife – trouser less – respectively. Enroute, they encounter another student, Chatur Ramalingam, now a successful businessman, who reminds them of a bet they had undertaken 10 years ago.
The trio, while recollecting hilarious antics, including their run-ins with the Dean of Delhi’s Imperial College of Engineering, Viru Sahastrabudhe, race to locate Rancho, at his last known address – little knowing the secret that was kept from them all this time.
REFLECTION ABOUT THE 3 IDIOTS
It is a story based on true friendship. Farhan Qureshi (R. Madhavan) and Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi) are in search of their long lost friend, Rancho or Ranncchoddas Shamalaldas Chanchad (Aamir Khan) accompanied by Pia (Kareena Kapoor) when a geek Chatur Ramalingam (Omi Vaidya) after 10 years brings them together after being ‘made fun of’ him during college. Rancho is actually the genius and the famous scientist, Phunsuk Wangdu. Chatur is left feeling stupid at the end of the movie. What a strong bond of friendship is depicted between the ‘3 idiots’ despite the Director of the College, ViruS (Boman Irani) efforts to separate them.
The best scenes of the films are college ragging, Chatur’s speech in college and the baby delivery scène by a vacuum cleaner and simple electronic gadgets. The story idea is a sure success. The story reminds me of Tarachand Barjatya’s, ‘Dosti’ released in 1964 and the revolutionary ideas being introduced by Cabinet Minister for HR, Science & Technology, Mr. Kapil Sibal in the field of education. The story also promotes secularism (Hindu-Muslim unity) as the friends come from different religions.
The movie is an interval of entertainment, drama, emotions, romance, all in one. All the actors have done complete justice to their roles. The movie really brings happiness and laughter to all the people who watched it!!!I Besides, there are many lessons we can find here. We can use all the moral lessons not only in our dreams but also in real life.
I was really touched because even if they’re not perfect, they done many mistakes, people still love them after knowing their real personality.:) And because of that, I will treasure all my precious friends who stay true behind me, who always there to support and comfort at all times .:)
